  • Careers, College, & Consoles: The brains behind the games.Join us for the Careers, College, & Consoles event.
    Join us and we’ll help you think about the choices of preparing for work, college, or skills training. If you are working on applications for jobs or more school, we can talk to you about options and things to remember as you get ready for high-school graduation. We’ll also play some games and give you the chance meet your peers and share stories. We’ll provide the food.

  • Roller Derby: Helping Hands Charity BoutRoller Derby flyer.
    Help raise funds for the Utah Parent Center while having a great time.
    Dates: Saturday, February 6, 2010, doors open 6:00 pm, bout starts at 7:00 pm
    Location: Salt Palace Convention Center, 100 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT
    Visit Wasatch Roller Derby for tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

  • Get Ur Good On Grants
    Available to children and youth (5-25) around the world, YSA’s Get Ur Good On Grants will award 100 $500 grants to projects addressing important community needs such as poverty, education, and environmental sustainability. Projects will occur on April 23-25, 2010, for Global Youth Service Day.
    Date: Grant applications are due February 22, 2010. Get started early.
    Location: Online application.

  • Primary Children's Medical Center SIBS Day
    Meet other kids that have siblings with medical needs or disabilities. Youth and teen groups are available. The $5.00 tuition includes lunch.
    Dates: Saturday, March 6, 2010 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

    This is the annual Family Links North provided by the Utah Parent Center. The BLT will be providing 3 sessions, so bring your teens, young adults, parents, classmates, friends, teachers, doctors, and others to join the sessions and fun.
